Purification Monastery or Christ's Precious Blood, Tlalnepantla

This monastery is located in Tlalnepantla, Morelos. It was built towards the end of the XVI century and it worked under the command of the Augustinian order. On October 1971 the first stone was blessed to start the building of the church.
This church consists of an atrium of medium size, the temple which has a tower with a clock in the middle.
There is also a one-storey cloister with the remains of a mural painting.
The fair town is celebrated in May or June according to the calendar. Nowadays plays and several representations take place at the atrium.
