Convento San Lucas, Mazatepec, Mazatepec

The temple of San Lucas was built by the Franciscan Order in 1696.

In the past, there used to be two prehispanic temples but when the Franciscans friars arrived to Mazatepec, they turned it down in order to stablished the new church.
